Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy covers refunds for Soltura purchases, sold by Timothy James Weston (sole trader, Queensland, Australia). Card payments are processed by Square; Square is our payment processor, not the seller, so refunds are arranged by us and returned through Square to your original card.
There is nothing to cancel. Soltura has no subscription. Credits are a single payment and have no expiry at all. We keep no card on file, so nothing can ever renew or be charged again without you deciding to buy.
1. 14-day money-back guarantee
Changed your mind? Ask for a full refund within 14 days of your purchase — no need to explain why. Email us and we'll arrange it.
The one qualification, and it is there so the guarantee can be generous rather than hedged: if you have used more than 100 calls from the purchase, we'll refund the unused portion rather than the whole amount, because by then you've already had real use out of what you bought. Under 100, you get everything back.
Over 100 calls, the unused portion is simply the value of the credits you have left: 1,500 of 2,000 left is three-quarters back. Your balance is shown in the app, in Settings.
2. After 14 days
Unused credits never expire, so there is rarely a reason to refund them — but if you're certain you'll never use them, write to us and we'll refund the unused balance pro rata at our discretion.
If something has gone wrong — you were charged in error, or the Service wasn't working — contact us and we'll make it right regardless of the window.
3. Failed calls are refunded automatically
You never need to ask about these. If a call fails — a network problem, or a result we couldn't produce — it is returned to your balance or your allowance automatically, within seconds. You are not charged for a correction you didn't receive.
4. What happens to your practice
Nothing of yours is deleted, whatever happens to a purchase. Your history, your garden and your level estimate are stored in your browser, not on our servers. Full history stays available for 12 months from your most recent purchase, whether or not you still hold credits; after that the app shows the last 7 days — everything older is hidden, not deleted, and comes back in full if you buy again. Exporting a backup of the lot is free either way.
Deleting your account is a separate, deliberate action (Settings → Account), and it is permanent. It also forfeits any unspent credits — if you want those refunded instead, write to us before you delete.
5. If we ever close Soltura
We would give at least 90 days' notice, during which your credits would keep working normally, and we would email everyone with a purchase on file before shutting anything down. Any credits still unused at the end of that period would be refunded on request. This is why we can describe credits as never expiring rather than putting an arbitrary date on them.
6. How to request a refund
- Email support@getsoltura.app from — or quoting — the email address you bought with, and tell us which purchase. That's all we need.
- You can also reply directly to the Square receipt emailed to you after payment.
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method, through Square. We approve refunds within two working days of your email. Your bank then takes its own time to show it — usually 5–10 business days, occasionally longer, and that part is out of our hands.
7. Your statutory rights
This policy is in addition to any rights you have under consumer law, including the Australian Consumer Law and any mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live. Nothing here limits those rights.
